International Wine Report: “The 2018 Lorenzo Melani Brunello di Montalcino delivers inviting aromas of red berries and cherries mixed with licorice, juniper, orange zest and herbs all taking shape. This possesses a medium body with fine tannins backed by lovely acidity underlying the core of dried red berries, spices and orange zest flavors that linger through the finish.”

Wine Enthusiast: “A classic nose features the sweetness of figs and Luxardo cherries, plus the light bitterness of orange peel and fennel, with a hot tar undertone. On the palate, the figs and cherries persist against coffee and dark chocolate undertones, before a long, dusty, tannic finish.”
